A1 Golf Centre was opened in 1991 by well known Tour Golf Professionals Christy O'Connor Snr and Jnr and is considered one of the best located driving ranges in London. The centre stands on 18 acres of land and is visible from the A1, just metres from the Borehamwood exit.

The A1 Golf Range now has a multi-shot experience with 10 target greens, offering golfers the opportunity to practice every shot in the bag from a 50 yards pitch to a 300 yard drive.

Our short game area has a large practice bunker and numerous chipping zones with various lengths of grass. The green is fully floodlit, enabling practice in the evening all year round.

N1GOLF has a fresh and modern approach to coaching. We aim to help improve your golf but at the same time make the experience fun - which is always the best way to learn.

18 holes of fun packed Adventure Golf amongst 7 giants of the Jurassic period, cascading waterfalls, flowing streams, lagoons, lush greenery and tropical palm trees.

Following our extensive refurbishment, the official reopening of the A1 Golf Centre took place on Saturday 17th September with European Tour Pro Niclas Fasth providing a real sense of occasion.

A member of the victorious 2002 Ryder Cup team, Niclas held a short game clinic and driving range demonstration before unveiling an opening plaque and receiving a bottle of champagne from owner Ivan Norman. Everyone at the A1 would like to thank both Niclas and his sponsor Callaway for supporting this landmark event. See photographs of the event below.
